Ubisoft Gamelab
What is it?
The Game Lab is a university competition organized by Ubisoft, held every year during the winter semester. It's open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students.
Teams have 10 weeks to build a video game prototype. Each team — made up of eight students from various fields of expertise (programming, art, design, etc.) — is guided by two Ubisoft mentors.
How to take part?
Registration opens during the fall semester on the club's Discord. Here are a few things that can improve your chances of being selected:
- Being an involved member
- Having worked on several personal or team projects
- Getting the competition credited as a capstone (PFE) or internship (PS) project
Why take part:
A unique chance to stand out in Quebec's video game industry, learn as a team, and benefit from the experience of industry professionals.
